Practice Self-Care During Times of Crisis
We have many problems.
It's important to recognize that while blogs and books can be a great source of information and support, they are not a substitute for professional help. If you're feeling overwhelmed or distressed, it's always a good idea to reach out to a trained mental or medical professional.
With that said, the content of this website is meant to provide information, insights, and resources to help you navigate some of the challenges that life can throw your way. We hope that the ideas and perspectives shared here will be helpful and supportive, and we also recognize that everyone's experiences and needs are unique.
If you're struggling with issues please don't hesitate to seek out professional help or support from a trusted friend or loved one.

What Is Happiness?
Happiness is something deeply personal—unique to each of us. Below are some ways people describe happiness. If your version isn’t reflected here, that’s perfectly okay. As you read this page and move through the rest of the book, you may begin to discover what happiness means to
you
, and how you might move closer to it.
Happiness is the experience of positive emotions that arise when we feel fulfilled, satisfied, and at peace with ourselves and our lives. It’s a sense of contentment and joy that lives within us, expressed in our own way.
Happiness is a state of well-being that touches every part of us—physical, emotional, and mental. It’s when we feel most in tune with ourselves.
Happiness is what we feel when we're truly alive—energized, engaged, and present. It gives us the mindset to see the good, even when life isn’t perfect.
Happiness is a way of seeing the world—with gratitude, kindness, and optimism. And when we practice it regularly, it becomes a habit that helps us find light even in difficult times.
Happiness is a sense of connection to something greater than ourselves. It’s the feeling of belonging—to a community, a cause, or a deeper purpose.
Happiness is found in meaning. When we live with purpose, we may discover a joy that lifts us beyond our everyday worries. Happiness is not a final destination—it’s a journey, a process of growing, learning, and becoming. Sometimes, it’s when a lifelong pursuit gently embraces us.
For me, happiness is the joy of discovery—meeting new people, exploring new possibilities, and learning something new every day.
